Burrator Reservoir
Burrator Reservoir
A tranquil body of water on an autumn evening along the margins of Dartmoor, in England's beautiful West Country.
I painted it because I love landscapes with water, and Burrator Reservoir epitomises everything about the mystery of a water scene. I convey this actual place closely to reality because it is in this zone that the feelings of solitude and peace are evoked by the vast scale, and the mysterious depth of the lake.
